STEPHEN MATTERSON BDS Specialist Orthodontist

Stephen qualified from Glasgow in 1974 and joined the practice in October 1975. He is a specialist in orthodontics (braces). He is the senior partner and works between Ewood and Colne. His interests are walking and travelling. GDC. No. 48003

GORDON BILTCLIFFE BDS

Gordon qualified from Liverpool in 1983 and became a partner in 1992. He works between the Ewood dental surgery and Colne dental surgery. His special interest is advanced dental restoration. His main interests are badminton, skiing and walking his dalmation dog Dylan. GDC. No. 57610

JOHN VARLEY BDS, DPDS

John also qualified from Liverpool in 1983 and joined the practice one month after Gordon and became a partner in 1992. His special interest is prosthetics (dentures). His interests are walking, golf and music. GDC.No. 57612

KARL TUZIO BDS

He qualified from Manchester in 1988 and became a partner in 1995. His special interest is advanced dental restoration. His interest is football, he is an avid Wigan Athletic supporter.GDC.No 63879

CARLOS FERNANDEZ-CAMPA LIC,ODONT,MFDS,RCSED

Carlos qualified in 2002 at Valencia University in Spain. He came to the UK in 2003 to work and study Oral Surgery. Carlos spent one month in Cuba on an Oral Surgery course and has built up his qualifications from then on. He joined the practice in August 2009. GDC.No 81727

MARK EDMONDSON BDS, FDS RCS Eng

Mark qualified from Manchester in 1991 and was a staff grade surgeon at Blackburn Royal Infirmary. He now works at several different practices in the area and is at the Ewood branch of our practice on Fridays and specialises in dental implants and oral surgery. In his spare time he enjoys water-skiing and playing football and is a Manchester United supporter.GDC.No 67136

SARMAD TWAIJ BChD

Sam qualified from Leeds in 2004 and joined the practice in 2005. He works at the Colne branch. He is just recently married and his hobbies are travelling and swimming.GDC.No 83534

MICHAEL PAINTER BDS

Michael qualified from Liverpool in 1983, and joined our Audley Range branch in May 2008 which has now moved to new premises on Accrington road. He has practiced in the Blackburn and Darwen area for many years and is well known and respected throughout the dental community. Away from dentistry he has a passion for golf.GDC.No 58228

ALTAF A. NATHA BDS (Liverpool) MFDS RCSEd

Altaf qualified from Liverpool in 2006 and has since returned to his home town of Blackbun. He has worked within the Blackburn with Darwen area over the last three years and joined our practice in September 2010.

Altaf has a very friendly and calming manner which makes him popular with both his patients and the team.

Outside of work he is passionate about sport in particular football and cricket. Altaf also enjoys attending the gym to develop his physique and update his fitness levels. GDC.No 103128
