Denplan

 An alternative to an NHS Dentist...

We are a Denplan practice and actively promote Denplan and the benefits it gives to you. Its an easy and affordable way to spread the cost of your routine preventative and restorative dental care. Denplan also provides supplementary insurance to provide cover if you have a dental injury or dental emergency worldwide!

There are two types of Denplan which both work in separate ways. We have briefly explained the two types of Denplan programs available below. If you require any further information or would like an information pack sending out through the post please enquire.

Denplan Care

Denplan care gives you all the routine dental treatment and is a popular choice with our patients. This Denplan covers you for checkups, hygiene treatment, x-rays and necessary fillings and extractions. Denplan Care also covers major restorative work that may be required including gum disease treatment, crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays and root canal treatment.

There are some fees that Denplan Care doesn't cover which include laboratory fees, orthodontics, implants and cosmetic dental treatment. It does however, provide various insurance covers including dental injury cover for up to £10,000 per incident. Access to a worldwide 24 hour emergency helpline means there's no need to panic in a dental emergency - Denplan will find you a dentist near to the area you are in.

Denplan Essentials

Denplan Essentials is slightly different from Denplan Care and does not cover you for as much of your treatment. Essentials covers you for checkups (as detailed in your contract), scaling and polishing and dental x-rays. Unfortunately this plan does not cover any restorative dental treatments, laboratory fees or prescriptions.

With Denplan Essentials you will still receive the supplementary insurance and 24 hour worldwide dental helpline.
